Montilla Market
It is a commercial event which takes place at the beginning of March. Its aim is the reactivation of the local businesses. During this event, shops offer their products at low prices (textile and stationery products, shoe shops, companies focused in leisure and free time activities) on the street along the day, setting up stands at the entrance of their shops. In addition, some restaurants take part at the event offering drink+a dish of food for a reduced price.

Black Friday
Montilla joins, as many other cities, to Black Friday; an initiative to encourage local commerce. During this event, many establishments remain open until midnight offering discounts. This creates a commercial area, closed to traffic, with special lighting and music livening the streets and encouraging shopping.
