Montilla's Holy Week has been declared of Touristic Interest  'Semana Santa de Andalucia', it is a tradition which combine religion, popular and mundane culture and the city become a pleasure for the senses that captivates Montilla's inhabitants and foreigners. Before these days there are a wide range of activities as: National Exhibition of Holy Week posters, the drum jam and the 'Sentencia Romana', the Easter proclamation, the Friday before Easter and the dramatic play of 'The Passion, death and resurrection of Christ.
