Alvear is the oldest winery in Andalusia, the second in Spain and its brand is the fifth oldest Spanish company. Founded in 1729 by Don Diego de Alvear y Escalera, today it is still owned by the Alvear family, their know-how has been passed down eight generations from father to son. It is currently one of the most renowned Spanish wineries at a national and international level, possessing wines with history and the oldest known soleras. The visit is carried out by technicians and sommeliers of the winery, it is an educational visit where we transmit our passion for our wines to those who visit us, the history of the family, our love and respect for the land, the harvest and the aging process showing the Monumental Winery, ending with the tasting of our great wines. Winery with 100 Peñín points in the Px 1830 centenary, 100 Parker in its Px vintage 2011 and best wine in Spain to the Fino Foreman by the Ministry of Agriculture, best tourist company in Córdoba, as well as countless awards does not leave our visitors indifferent. The visit is possible completed with a visit to our vineyard or winery.

The visits are offered in three languages: Spanish, English and French.

It is a family-owned cellar devoted to make wines of the Montilla-Moriles Designation of Origin since 1925. It is located in Sierra de Montilla at the very heart of Andalusia; it is surrounded by vineyards and wine presses. They manufacture high quality limited wines that will delight your senses.

This cellar receives its name from its founder (Mr Rafael Cruz Conde), an army commander who had as a goal the production, ageing and commercialization of the best wines of Montilla-Moriles area. It has an underground cellar formed by 6 naves of vaulted ceiling and other 6 naves of outstanding architecture.

It is a small cellar located by a vineyard. From the cellar there are gorgeous views of the Sierra de Montilla and from the back we can see the Subbética and Penibética mountains. The cellar is composed by stainless steel tanks which have a capacity of 20 hl, a destemmer-squeezer and a press, in addition to other cellar-tools. Marenas produce red and rosé wines.

It has its origins in 1830 as a modest family business; when José Antonio Navarro knew how to collect the knowledge related to Montilla-Moriles wine making techniques inherited from parents to children. Bodegas Navarro Wines have their own personality, by tasting them you will feel centuries of tradition, affection in the elaboration and the guarantee of quality.

Heirs of thousand of years of tradition, Navisa has developed its activity based on work, culture,  constant effort and commitment to our customers and directed to our wines providing a quality sensory experience, unique in fineness, flavour and aroma. Nowadays, Navisa Industrial Vinícola Española S.A.  It commercializes a portfolio of balanced and competitive products, and continues launching on market new brands, wines and spirits.

This cellar was created in 1905. Since its foundation they have selected the best vineyards of the Sierra de Montilla y Moriles Altos. The casks are selected according to the must’s characteristics due to the wide range of wines existing in the area:  Finos, Olorosos, Amontillados and sweet wines as Pedro Ximénez.

It is well-known by its tradition and the production of organic wine. It is integrated at the Cordoba Province Cellars Association (Asociación de Bodegas de la Provincia de Córdoba) and it is registered at the Spanish Federation of Cellars (Federación Nacional de Bodegas), as well as at the EPEA (Andalusian Association of Ecological Products Entreprises) along with three other cellars of our area.

It was founded in 1979 by a group of farmers driven by the UAGA trade union. Since the beginning, its activity was centred in white wine and extra virgin olive oil produced at their facilities at  Avenida de Italia in Montilla.

As a consequence of the membership growth, it was necessary to move the facilities to a new location at Calle Río de la Hoz, keeping the main office at  Italia Avenue (Sales of wine and oil).

It was founded in 1963 at the initiative of a group of farmers. Nowadays, it has a great potential, counting with more than 1,100 hectares of vineyards and one of the most modern production complex in Spain. They are also devoted to olive oil production.

It was founded in 1980 by Mr. Antonio Olivares Arrabal, under the name of Bodegas Olivares, they are wine breeders and exporters, using ‘soleras’ acquiring ‘soleras’ which are more than 50 years old that had been preserved in American oak casks. In 2004, Antonio Olivares Arrabal transferred his cellar to his son Antonio Olivares Ramírez, being renamed as Bodegas Vinos de Anora, maintaining the breeding and elaboration process of his ancestors.

From respect and trust in our land and nature, they are focused on the fusion between tradition and avant-garde. Its objective is to produce a wine with a unique character, which expresses freshness and youth, integrating the personality and style of the south with selected production methods in different regions of the wine world.

In 2017, true to its philosophy and the values ​​of its surroundings, the winery launched with enthusiasm the first vintage of its Dulas Blanco wine fermented in Barrel; a wine with personality that discovers another face of Pedro Ximénez. This will be preceded by Dulas Blanco Joven Pedro Ximénez and Dulas Tinto Cabernet Sauvignon with 12 months of aging in the barrel

The distinguished Brigadier Don Diego de Alvear y Ponce de León, in the 18th century, brought together the centuries-old soleras of the family in the “Bodega de la Casa”, whose Sacristy preserves unique jewels. During this visit we will convey the incredible history of our winery and characters through our rooms, we will visit the Escudo and Liceo wineries passing through the sacristy and we will end with the tasting of unique wines in our Tasting Room. It is a very personalized and careful visit by one of our sommeliers.
