Wine presses tour
Sierra de Montilla wineries are family-owned establishments that are located in the vineyards where you can enjoy the countryside and the world of wine. You can visit vineyards, the facilities of each winepress and finally tasting their wines along with snacks or lunch. There are three options to choose: Two wine presses + tapas, Two wine presses + lunch or Three wine presses + lunch.
The tour includes visit to wineries integrated in the Association of Lagares Sierra de Montilla, wine tasting in each of the wineries visited (you can drink as much as you want) and panoramic route of the typical landscape of the Sierra de Montilla with professional guide of the area with knowledge in enotourism.
The visit does not include transfer service. Reservation at least 7 days in advance. All year round from Monday to Sunday in the morning Good Friday, December 25th and January 1st. At least 10 people are required.
ROUTE
In addition to wine production, the objective of Cañada Navarro is promoting wines of Montilla-Moriles Designation of Origin and the enotourism.
It is an enterprise from Cordoba devoted to the organic farming of olives trees and vines.
This winepress began its activity in 1959, when vine-growers of the area got together to constitute the first winemaking cooperative of the Montilla-Moriles area
La Primilla has evolved along time and they have adapted its cellar, equipment and structure to the present requirements without losing its identity and authenticity.
Heirs of the oldest tradition and direct descendants of the famous winemakers García Toro and García Márquez.
A family house where artisanal production has been passed on from generation to generation.
It is an emblematic place which have known how to remain through the centuries preserving the taste of traditional wines.
